Creating my Ident

I wanted to create an ident that took my title into a visual cartoon, as my tv series is called : Breakthrough. I had a few ideas, my first was to have someone breaking into a house or someone in the spotlight as if they have broken through into the spotlight. I decided to go with my third idea which was to have a hammer break through and shatter glass where the title would be released underneath. I first drafter my idea by drawing it out.

After this i then went to find cartoon png hammers and had to transform it from one side to the other and make it spin as if it had been thrown, this was done through anchor points on after effects.

Finally i added the shatter effect and placed text on the bottom layer so when the glass was shattered it would look like the text was underneath it.
