Although my film is a documentary i still had to plan costumes and props to make sure my film had the conventions of its sub - genre, a classical music documentary.
However, this was a slight problem as john does not use emails or the phone i had to contact his wife to ask him to bring certain props. I emailed Jane cullis asking if John could bring his dinner jacket and bow tie to look more professional, a more old school case if he had one for the asthetics and formal shoes.

I then had to call the place where we had booked for the shoot to make sure they had what we needed, recording wise and instruments. I asked them to make sure we had a grand piano and not an electric one, they then put us in a grand piano room with the same dimensions as before. I had to make sure it was sound proof as i do not want external sound coming into my film from other practice/recording rooms and to ask if they had sound foam for the floor to stop the vibrations of the piano and cello shaking my camera which i will fix in premier pro warp stabiliser but to reduce the amount of editing needed they provided me with a foam matte.
