Day 2

my second shoot was with my main character john cullis.

I had to email his wife as john is so busy with music he does not have time for emails, after contacting johns wife, jane, back and forth we managed to find a date which worked for both of us. I then went on to ask her to send me some info on john's life to tailor some questions for him and send them to him before hand to read. Jane sent me this :

- After i had the info on john i made some questions to ask him which can be seen in the blog post above. I then had to go on to booking the venue for our interview. I knew john had to preform at the royal opera house in london after our shoot so i looked for a venue nearby, my first location which was, the sound studios in stoke newington cancelled on me over phone due to a leak. This gave me half a week to find another venue which i called up and managed to make a booking which did lead to us not having as much space as we wanted but it worked.

I do not have any emails as i booked the location last minute over phone.

- Once i had the location i then asked to make sure it was ok to film in their and i asked for the dimensions of the room so i could have an idea of where to place my camera. They did not have a floor plan but they sent me the dimensions which was,

Length 13'-6"

I worked out using an online wbesite this was enough for 4 people with a piano in too. So i recruited one other person to help me which meant one side could have two cameramen and the other side a piano and cello.
