Target Audience

- I had two main target audiences for my film. People aged 15-25 and then 50 +

- Although these are both very different age gaps and audiences I thought it would be interesting to put them together which is definitely not a convention and is me challenging the usual way tv documentaries target audiences, as seen with Abstract they only target young males and females because there is no older representation, however, it could be argued that for an older person to like it they do not need to be represented. Also in ' What do artist do all day' they target certain creatives each show and not a younger audiences as they are all older artists. This is an example of me challenging the conventional stereotypical way tv documentaries are targeted as I want to achieve as big audience as possible and the way to do that is to make it accessible and interesting to a range of audiences.
